Hey everyone!
I decided instead of doing a March specific wrap-up, I would do a quarterly review covering everything I read during the first three months of the year. I am really happy with how my reading has gone so far this year and am hoping I can keep the momentum going. My goal for this year is to read 52 books and I am currently at 19 which means I am 6 books ahead of schedule. While I would love to keep reading at this pace, I know there is the potential for a slump at any time, so luckily I have some room to read less given I am ahead.

Series Read
For this section I’ll talk about series I completed, caught up on, or currently started. With that, I will only discuss series that I read more than one book in because it does not make sense to talk about only one book in the series if there are more published.
- The Empyrean (1-3)
- Caught up on published books
- Griffith Brothers (1-3)
- Entire series completed
- Vancouver Storm (3-5)
- Entire series completed
- D.C. Stars (1-2)
- I started this series
- To be fair I also started the third book in March, but I did not finish it until April

Upcoming Next Quarter
Going into the next few months I want to continue my reading streak (currently 168 days strong!) and read books I genuinely enjoy. I don’t DNF books often, but honestly I read a lot of things I enjoy so I don’t have to. With that being said, if I do pick up a book I’m not enjoying I will put it down to ensure I am reading things I love. Reading is a fun hobby for me and I never want it to feel like a chore.
New Releases
- Unbound by Peyton Corinne (The Undone, #3)
- Heart Racer by Megan Avery
- Fever Dream by Elsie Silver (Emerald Lake, #1)
- First and Forever by Lynn Painter
- West of Forever by Corinne Michaels (Heartstone Ranch, #1)
- When Dealing with Dragons by Dana Swift
Back Log
- A Tongue so Sweet and Deadly by Sophia St. Germain
- Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson
- The Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson
- The Trade by Ki Stephens
To be fair, while I am excited about all these books, I make no promises to actually read them next quarter. I am a mood reader to my core so I am not good at having TBR’s. Reading this way is helpful for me though, because it means I always try to read something I am genuinely interested in.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I am extremely happy with how this quarter went and I am happy to say that reading still excites me. I had a slump for close to a year and I never really wanted to get out of it. Last fall I decided I wanted to prioritize reading again. I started slow, but I am so happy I started at all because I am fully in love with reading again and I can’t wait to keep exploring. One of my goals next quarter is to read 5 fantasy (or romantasy) books. I used to love fantasy, so a goal of mine in 2026 is to read more, but I have to be intentional about it otherwise I just stick with contemporary romance.
Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed this wrap-up. I know I have been kind of MIA, but honestly I just haven’t had much to write about. I have been thinking about what I want to say and how to shift my blog content, but I haven’t decided exactly what I want to do. As always, thank you for reading and check out my Instagram for more.
