Hey everyone!
I honestly feel like this week was such a blur. School and work have been getting busier as the days go on, but I’m still taking time for myself as much as possible. This busyness is why I’m a day late, but I hope you still enjoy!
Types of content consumed: YouTube, Television, Books, Music
YouTube
This week was a big YouTube week for me. Cooking dinner is my time to unwind, so I always enjoy watching something, and this week I gravitated towards YouTube.
Once again I watched a lot of videos from Heather McLarry this week. She is quickly becoming a comfort creator. Her longer vlogs are perfect for me to put on while cooking. As well, she encourages me to read while adding far too many books to my tbr.

Television
*spoilers ahead for Heartland (season 19), Dancing with the Stars (season 34), and Survivor (season 49)*
With it being fall, it is the start of many TV shows, including some of my favourites. There are currently three shows that I am watching live: Heartland, Dancing with the Stars, and Survivor.
Heartland
Episode two of season 19 was just as good as episode one for me. It was sad to see Lyndy’s reaction to Amy and Nathan, but also it is so fair for her to be hurt. I hope Amy talks to Lyndy and explains the situation to her, so she doesn’t feel like secrets are being kept. Gracie is not my favourite character, but I am interested to see her storyline this season. It feels like she came in to help, but hasn’t been communicating at all, so she is just creating issues for everyone involved. Another storyline I am interested in is Katie’s and her involvement with the Rodeo Flag Girls. She didn’t start this for the right reasons, and while I think she has better intentions now it will be interesting to see what happens.
Dancing with the Stars
Dedication week had me in tears, and I know I’m not the only one based on TikTok. I thought it was interesting to see how different people included their family and friends in their dances. Due to the different amount of inclusion I think it was fair to not eliminate everyone since the playing ground was uneven.
Survivor
This week of Survivor was interesting as per usual. I knew as soon as they got to the challenge they would be mixing the tribes because there was no way KELA was going to continue with only two members. Honestly, I realized early on that something was amiss at the challenge since I noticed only two buff colours when the challenge was still set up for three tribes. I like this mixing of the tribes because it helps us better get to know the contestants. I mentioned last week I was interested in Jason’s gameplay, and given he was on the bottom this week I am interested to see how he plays moving forward.
Reading
The Last Man by Mary Shelley
I have read another 10 chapters of this novel. I am finally deep into the plague after reading an entire volume of family and political life. I am interested to see where this novel goes and what the novel leaves readers with at the end. I am listening to the audiobook alongside reading it which has allowed me to be more immersed in the game.
Soul Searching by Lyla Sage
This book is definitely delivering all the things I hoped it would. The small (ghost) town vibes are exactly what I’d hoped for in this fall read. As well the development between Collins and Brady has been so fun to watch. I like getting to learn about the ghosts through Collins mind and her explanation of them to Brady. I really wish I could just sit down and finish it, but unfortunately its going to take some time due to school and work.

Music
I genuinely have no idea what I listened to this week. I have been on autopilot with listening to Ella Langley’s hungover album as well as Morgan Wallen’s setlist from his I’m the Problem tour. As well, I listen to a lot of instrumental music while completing my school work.
Thanks for reading everyone! Let me know what you consumed this week, and if you watched or read any of the same things I’d love to hear your thoughts. Check out my Instagram and let me know what you would like to see for me.
